Managing Your Supporter Account

You can make donations to the CAIC here

New Supporters will receive an email with your user name and a temporary password. Renewing Supporters can use their existing username and password. If you forget your password, please click on the "Click here for password and username help" link below the login.

To manage your Email Forecasts:

Login to the CAIC website. The link is in the upper right of all the pages. The email you used in your Geostore transaction is your default User Name, and was sent to you in the email. If you forget your password, please click on the "Click here for password and username help" link below the login.

Click on My Prefs, next to Log in/out.
Please provide your mailing address in the User Information tab if you would like to recieve The Beacon newsletter.
You can select My BC Zone and Landmark. Those will be autopopulated when you submit an Observation.
You can change your password in the Account Information tab.
You can manage your email subscriptions and follow CAIC tweets on the Backcountry Subscriptions tab.

Check "The Beacon" if you would like to receive the CAIC newsletter.
Check the boxes next to "Backcountry Weather" if you would like to receive the 10 Zone weather forecast emails.
Click on the Twitter icon to follow off-season updates from the CAIC
Check the boxes next to the Zone Forecasts you would like to recieve via email in the Backcountry Forecasts column.
Check the boxes next to the zones you would like to recieve Watch/Warning emails from. These emails will be sent if the CAIC issues an Avalanche Watch or an Avalanche Warning for the Zone.
You can follow tweets from individual zones by clicking on the appropriate Twitter icon.
