Accident Summary

PRELIMINARY: On Thursday March 7, 2019 at 1:53 PM the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office was notified by radio of an avalanche on Jones Pass with people caught. One person was buried. He was located and transported to the trailhead. Emergency medical services from Clear Creek County transported the victim to the hospital, where he later succumb to his injuries.
