Accident Summary

PRELIMINARY: A skier was caught and injured in an avalanche on Telescope Mountain northeast of the town of Rico on March 31. Search and rescue personnel responded to the scene and the victim was evacuated by helicopter. CAIC forecasters will complete a more detailed investigation and we will update this report as we collect more information.
