Accident Summary

PRELIMINARY: A snowmobiler was killed in an avalanche near Sheep Pass in the Salt River Range on December 18. Search and Rescue personnel worked into the evening to recover the body. They reported that it occurred on an east facing slope and that the rider deployed an airbag but did not survive.
