- Area Description: Butler Gulch
- Weather Description: Windy, started the morning around freezing. As the day progressed it felt humid and warmed significantly.
- Snowpack Description: 11,400 ft on North facing slopes at treeline in Butler Gulch.
Drifting snow, pockets up to 2 feet deep. Base is faceted. Several layers. Had a lot of collapsing today with settling propogating over significant distances.
Due to the warmth snow became heavy and set up during later part of the morning. Felt like skiing in April.
