Accident Summary
Observation Summary
We triggered an avalanche from below from maybe 100 or 200 feet away on a west aspect below the Mt. Justice ridge. The avalanche broke around 2 feet deep on the underlying crust that formed last week. It ran slowly for at least 800 vertical feet with debris run around one member of our group, but didn't move him off his feet as he hung onto a tree.
