Report Information
Decent overnight and early morning freeze allowed for safe travels up. Rapidly rising temps and rotting snow that was most noticeable around trees and rocks along the east side. Westerly breeze helped keep snow in decent shape above treeline. The colouir itself held hard packed snow in the shade along the most northeast portion along the rocks and rapidly warming snow along the sun-exposed areas made for a more complex snow pack to manage. We descended around 12:30. Mild sloughing was noted but no major signs of instability noted. At the bottom of the decent, we noted a significant amount of medium to large roller balls coming from neighboring coloiur. On the skin back we also noted some wet loose activity at treeline along 35° slopes.
Took standard trail from the East up, descended The Silver Coloiur.
