Observation Summary
Snow coverage was thin and discontinuous below treeline. Westerly-facing slopes above treeline were wind-scoured to bare ground with patches of snow. Intense snow transport was visible along ridgelines.

Westerly-facing slopes are stripped of most snow leaving much less snow available for transport than there was on those slopes a few days ago.

Mostly clear sky with few clouds in the west, above freezing temperatures below 10,000 feet, and windy.
