Route Description
Bear Lake TH to Ptarmigan headwall
Avalanche
Triggered avalanche
Skied across the Ptarmigan headwall to assess the snow pack. Triggered a D1 wind slab at my feet directly in the center of the bowl. Slab broke about 3in down and ran about 150 feet.
