Commodore area on north RMP observation via guide group/Mike Soucy during the early afternnon hours. McMillan Peak/Cement Creek observation via Silverton Mountain Ski Patrol estimated to have occurred around 11 am.
Second hand observations of likely wet slab releases or possibly persistent slab actvity induced from an on-going warm spell.
Avalanches
Upper near treeline elevation bands on large east-facing slopes. Commodore size is unknown but estimating at least a D2 due to what appears to be a failure near or at ground. McMillan is estimate by observer who could makeout small trees mixed in the debris.
