We didn't find a good freeze in the Apache/Navajo/Isabelle cirque. It seems like a cloud parked there last night and prevent a good freeze; there was also 0-4" of new wet snow in spots. Snow was mostly wet about 1' down or more - sinking to or past boot top.

We called it at the base of the couloir not liking the (lack of) freeze. Didn't see any avalanches, although some small rollerballs would appear anywhere the sun hit briefly. Road is clear to the Long Lake trailhead - bring a bike!

We climbed up to the base of Apache's East Couloir from Long Lake.
