Hidden Valley pow day!

10cm of new snow at 11k near treeline around 10am. Total snowpack depth 130cm with resistance on the probe at 60cm, 85cm and 110cm. Boot penetration up to calf.

Didn’t see a strong wind slab layer yet at 10am near treeline, but strong winds were moving snow. Found great fluffy snow in sheltered areas.
