Lots of surface hoar. large crystals in wind sheltered areas like gully’s or rollovers. Poked over to the east to see what was going on now that we are a week + from the big storm. Observed a crack/slab propagation marks that were quite old. Cool to see this formation at about 29 degree slope angle. If it was a hair steeper I’m sure it would have ran. On north and east snowpack is quite faceted all the way through. South through West was more crusty in sun exposed places and made travel easier.
