Snow depth on the road ranged from 18-30" from the seasonal closure gate to Beeler Grade. Along Beeler four avalanches have crossed the road depositing 10-15' of snow on the road.

Central Sawatch on the east side of Independence Pass.

I skied up HWY 82 from the seasonal closure to Beeler Grade.

The avalanches that I saw were old, most likely from around 2/14.
